Check this place out! The perfect thing for all those new
babies around the Firehouse!! Boys clothes too!
From Samya, the owner/founder of firedaughterclothing.com!
"Firedaughter Clothing was created out of necessity. It was
absolutely necessary for me to have adorable, trendy clothing that my new
baby daughter could wear that would enable her to brag about her daddy!
As most firefighter wives are, I am crazy proud of my husband and what he
does for a living. I love that my husband is strong, that he is brave, that
he is a man. No manicures or pedicures for my firefighter- too girly! I love
that the firehouse has made him a better cook than me, and I love that his
schedule always gives us time to miss each other. I love that I get to tell
people that my husband is a fireman. And then of course there's that
uniform...
And so Firedaughter Clothing was created- inspired by my husband, a
Captain on the Phoenix Fire Department, and my perfect little daughter,
Autumn, Firedaughter Clothing's mission is to provide all of the little
Firedaughter's a super cute, always trendy, always original way of bragging
about their daddies (or mommies)!
To all of the firefighters and the people who love them- Welcome to
Firedaughter Clothing. I know our clothes are just what you've been
waiting for."
Firefighters Wife's Prayer
Lord I thank you for my husband. This
firefighter that I love. Give me strength to give him support with your
guidance from above. Make me a good partner, attentive listener, my
husband's best friend. When I chose him I chose a firefighter, and the job
on which we depend. Lord, keep my firefighter safe when our plan's have gone
awry, Answering an emergency call with a life or death cry. Keep the gusting
winds and raging flames from being his final fate. Help me cope with the
trauma of being a firefighter's mate.
Carole passed away, 1/22/06. No more pain, no
more suffering..
and now my Mom, Florice M Bryant, lost to
cancer 8/01/07. A void was left that can't be filled...

Susan Farren didn't plan on marrying a fireman. Having herself spent several
years as a paramedic, she knew too well the dangers of the emergency
profession. But as fate would have it, she met Dan-and everything
changed.Suddenly she was married to a man who had wanted to be a fireman
ever since he was a child, and she found herself faced with the sacrifices
and struggles that accompany this challenging career. Being a fireman's wife
meant relocating her family, living without her husband for days at a time,
and wondering every time she heard a siren if he would make it home safely.
Ultimately, it also meant receiving the phone call every fireman's wife
fears may come: the news that her husband had been in an accident.Susan
speaks on behalf of thousands of firemen+s wives nationwide-the women who
hold down the fort while their husbands are on the job. Their sacrifice is
our gain, and for the first time, this book tells their story.
